CExP™ Continuing Education & Renewal
The CExP™ Continuing Education (CE) submission and 2024 renewal periods are open as of December 1, 2023.
Please read the following for more information about your renewal.
CONTINUING EDUCATION
If you submit your CE in ODD-NUMBERED years, click the “Submit CE Programs” button to submit programs you’ve attended in 2022 & 2023.
Please Note – CE submissions via email will not be accepted. The submission form is required and we ask that you submit all programs at one time, if possible.
CE Submissions
The deadline for those who report CE in ODD YEARS to submit all required CE programs for credit is December 31, 2023. You must accrue 30 credit hours of CE programming in each two-year CE reporting period. At minimum, 15 of those credit hours must come from BEI educational programs. A maximum of 15 credit hours may come from other education providers if the programs are connected to Exit Planning for business owners (e.g., retirement planning, business valuation, business transactions). You may submit programs that you attended in 2022 and 2023.
ANNUAL CERTIFICATION RENEWAL FEE
ALL CExP designation holders – please click the “Pay Renewal Now!” button to pay your 2024 annual renewal fee ($200).
If you received your designation in 2023, your renewal fee is waived this year.
Annual Renewal Fee
ALL CExP designation holders must renew their designation by paying an annual renewal fee of $200 EVERY YEAR. For this renewal period, your renewal fee is due by January 31, 2024. Renewals between February 1, 2024, and March 31, 2024 will be assessed a $50 late fee. If you have not renewed your designation by March 31, 2024, it will be suspended.

BEI Educational Programs Include:
- 2023 BEI National Conference (in-person or watch videos). 2023 BEI National Conference videos can be purchased for $995 at the bottom of this page – 15 credits
- 2022 BEI National Conference (in-person or watch videos) – 15 credits
- CExP Workshop at the 2022 & 2023 BEI National Conferences (in-person) – 6.5 credits
- BEI Owner-Based Planning Training – 7 credits
- BEI Starter Membership, previously known as Associate Membership participation (Maximum of 1 credit per month of Starter Membership during the reporting period. Training video titles and credits must be submitted in the submission form.)
- BEI Training Videos available at ExitPlanning.com for Planning, Growth, Engagement, and Premium License Holders (50 Minutes = 1 credit). Video titles and credits must be submitted in the submission form.
- CE submissions are subject to review and approval. If the CExP Team requires clarification or rejects a program, you will be notified within 30 days of your submission.
