The Advisor Team: Certified Public Accountants
A primary role of the CPA is to tell the business owner what her company is worth. Many owners already work
with CPAs who are competent to perform this task. Some owners are fortunate to also have CPAs who proactively
help them plan for an eventual departure via income tax planning, and management advisory services. Your CPA
will likely be called upon to provide your company's audited or reviewed financial statements. It is his job
to show you how exit decisions you make will impact you financially.
